$SHARD drop chance

$SHARD is Golem Overlord's secondary currency

PreviousClaim Length SettingNextActive Events

Last updated 2 years ago

$SHARD tokens currently do nothing (except trade on speculation), but will soon become useful for upcoming aspects of the game, including NFTs.

Every time you make a claim transaction, you also roll for a chance to earn $SHARD (sent directly to your Hive Engine wallet).

The odds of rolling a success are displayed in the Claiming Panel as Chance: x% / y%

Chances exceeding 100% are absolutely possible. A chance of 150% means: 1 $SHARD guaranteed + a 50% chance to get an additional $SHARD.

The calculations for $SHARD are determined by the level of your account. To see the table for $SHARD percentages, please go back to Level.

Max $SHARD chance

The chance cap is determined chiefly by the stat.

Future Events or NFT's, may further augment your chances.

Accumulating $SHARD chance

Similar to your $PART income, you also gain small amounts of $SHARD chance every tick (3 seconds).

The amount of $SHARD per tick is a factor of your overall Level Stat (and possibly future Events or NFT's).

DailyRate (%) = 100 * (1.1)^(Level - 1)

The displays both hourly and daily $SHARD drop chance.

$SHARD rolls

When you make a Claim transaction, you will roll for X $SHARD.

Where X is determined by the $SHARD roll chance: 100% or less, you're rolling for 1 $SHARD. If you can get to 101%, that means 1 $SHARD guaranteed and there is a 1% chance for a second.

The also factors into your overall chances! (e.g. a multiplier of 110% means you'll get a 10% boost—multiplicative—to whatever your $SHARD chance was when you claimed).
