Claim Multiplier

PreviousStash & Max StashNextClaim Timer & Claim Button

Last updated 2 years ago

When you take the Claim action, you will receive a bonus $PART according to your Claim Multiplier. The baseline multiplier is 100% (i.e. you receive 100% of your Claimable Stash when claiming).

Max Stash does NOT impact the bonus $PART earned by this multiplier.

Example: You have an 8 $PART in your Stash with a Max Stash of 9 and a multiplier of 120%. When you claim under these conditions, you will recieve 8 $PART + 1.6 bonus $PART = 9.6 total $PART (even though your Max Stash is 9).

Calculating the Claim Multiplier

The core purpose of this multiplier is to reward active players and weaken multi-accounts and farming accounts.

You can increase the multiplier by:

  • Holding a certain position on the Leaderboard the day ago. Snapshot at 00:00 UTC

  • Setting your to 'Longer'.

  • Possibly through special events or NFTs

  • Rising the Ranks!

Your multiplier will decrease if your total "lifetime claimed" amount starts to significantly overtake your total "lifetime spent" amount.

Specifically, the formula currently works as follows:

PercentUsed=(LifetimeBurned+Staked+10)/LifetimeClaimedPercentUsed = (LifetimeBurned +Staked+10)/LifetimeClaimedPercentUsed=(LifetimeBurned+Staked+10)/LifetimeClaimed

If "PercentUsed" falls below 75%, your multiplier will be set to PercentUsed + any increase bonuses mentioned above. So as long as PercentUsed is equal to or greater than 76%, you will suffer no Claim Multiplier decreases. The lowest penalty is 10%.

LifetimeClaimed includes any bonus $PART you receive from multipliers, Events, etc.

LifetimeBurned includes all $PART spent (aka burned) on stat upgrades.

Staked is what is staked on your Hive Engine wallet. It is possible to unstake $PART, so be sure to factor this aspect of the game in if you choose to do that.

There is a +10 baseline included so that new players don't immediately get hit with a penalty.

Example 1: You've spent 100 $PART on upgrades and have staked 5 $PART. You've claimed 90 $PART and earn a 1% bonus for your position on the Leaderboard. PercentUsed = (100 + 5 + 10) / 90 = 127%.

Your Multiplier will be 101% (PU is >= 75%. Multiplier = 100% + 1% bonus)

Example 2: You've spent 200 $PART on upgrades and have staked 50 $PART. You've claimed 480 $PART and earn a 5% bonus for your position on the Leaderboard. PercentUsed = (200 + 50 + 10) / 480 = 54.1%.

Your Multiplier will be 59.1% (PU is < 75%. Multiplier = PU + 5% bonus)
